The S1 series IP55 is ideally equipped for decentralised installation.
In many applications, it makes sense to install the frequency inverter in the immediate vicinity of the motor. Motors are often located in harsh environments that are exposed to dust and moisture.
A high protection class for the frequency inverter is a must in such cases.
